are these guys really anorexic?

all of them them look truely emaciated. but they are all not that kind of anorexic as we are used to know about from official health issues. each of them has their individual story and so their emaciation has.

why are they then so emaciated?

i guess all of us eccentric female artists don't really know themselves, even not those who have a preference for skinny guys. emaciation might be corresponding with vulnurability of the soul and in that part those resembling characters might be similar.they went all more or less thru transformation and injury that made them become what they are.

are you female artists anorexic then ?

no. none of us is anorexic as far as we know though it is sad enough to say that eating disorders are terribly common nowerdays so that it might be that the one or the other has erratically occuring tendencies just as any other female human in our society has.

your characters are cool, is it ok to draw fanart or write stories about them?

yes, fanart and fanfiction or colaborations are always very welcome and thrilling :) but please contact the artist before and tell about your plans. all rights are reserved for the artists.

this is so cool! can I make a skinny guy and join?

Answer: Depends. As said above, all our Alter Ego's are very intense and importaint to us. They are not something you can "fake". I know in my case, my Alter-Ego was a compleat accident. He just sort of arrived in my mind. This is not the next LJ, or Online quiz, this is not the next Trend. Please do not make one up for the sake of seeing your name on a list or feeling special. As you can tell by our characters, we are not that superficial. Please, if you're considering joining, make sure your skinny guy is a real part of you, a real symbol, a crutch, a sheild or a mentor. Please make him mean something.
Oh, And please make sure you're female.

i think i have a character like that living in me as well o.o. what if i told you about it?

it would be very pleasing if you did. some of us felt terribly lonely with this being inside and maybe you feel so too. this place is grown from the curiosity if there are more like us and "them". if you write i/we would have pretty intresting mail contact i guess and offer you to expose your character here as well. the more we get the better. muahahaha :D.

you are odd folks. don't you think it's offending or even a dangerous trigger for real anorexics?

it might be. yes. at least i who write felt very ashamed about the being inside for most of my life also for those reasons.yet it is something alive and i have learned i must not try to erase it as i also don't have to operate my nose or try to be someone else than who i am. so either you accept this part of us or you shouldnt be really intrested in this site at all. but i havnt had any negative discussions yet, since as far i can say this is the very first place of this kind in the net, so i am still open to discuss and widen my horizon.
